Amazon digital classics deal raises hackles at Random House

AmazonAmazon has signed a deal with the Wylie Agency to publish 20 classic books in digital format for the first time. It's a move that has put them on collision course with Random House.

BookShed Short Story Compilation - Call for Submissions

Short FusesLonger Fuses will be the second compilation of stories produced by The BookShed. The submissions period for the new book is now open and continues until 1 September 2010.

Unlike our first anthology (pictured) where the emphasis was on short stories, Longer Fuses allows contributions of any length up to 10,000 words, poetry included.

There are no rules about subject matter and you don't need to worry about what you write being uplifting or life affirming.
