I first came across The Armchair Bride when it was in the development stage on the youwriteon website. It was no surprise that it was one of the site's most highly rated books as reading it, it was hard to believe it was written by an `amateur'. The relationship between Andy and Lisa is so believable and the comic situations poor Lisa gets herself into are so cringeworthy, you really feel for her.
This is a laugh out loud for anyone who has reached or is about to reach the big 4-0 and has realised life just hasn't moved on very far for them and they haven't achieved any of the things they set out to.
Buy it. I guarantee it will put a smile on your face.
